Patrick W. Blegen
Patrick Blegen is a partner and founding member of Blegen & Associates and has practiced criminal law in Chicago since 1994. Mr. Blegen represents clients in federal criminal matters throughout the country and in state criminal matters in the Illinois courts. While experienced in all facets of federal and state cases, Mr. Blegen focuses his practice on defending clients during investigations and at trial. Mr. Blegen also represents clients in civil matters and government agency investigations.
Mr. Blegen has represented clients in trials in the Federal Court in Chicago involving public corruption, fraud, racketeering and matters of national security. He has also argued numerous cases on appeal in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Mr. Blegen is often called on to make presentations to legal and bar associations on diverse matters such as cross-examination, technological issues in the law, national security and general federal criminal practice.
